Anxiety states and knowledge of COVID-19 among pregnant women during the pandemic in Turkey – a cross-sectional study

Introduction. Infectious outbreaks have negative effects not only on the physical health of society but also mental health. Aim. To evaluate anxiety states and knowledge COVID-19 during pandemic in pregnant women. Material methods. Cross-sectional study conducted a university hospital Turkey. A total 199 women were included study. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), two questionnaires to about COVID-19, COVID-19-related applied all Results. highest level anxieties their spouses or newborns contracting drugs fetus delivery. There was correlation between gestational week questionnaire (r=-0.152, p=0.037). STAI score 76.48±14.11, STAI-T scores (42.39±7.66) higher than STAI-S (34.09±8.77).
